Originally from Arkansas, Dr. Anderson received her B.A. in French from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Her teaching experience includes two years in France where she taught English as an assistante d’anglais and lectrice d’anglais. Before coming to ECU in 1995, she taught at the University of Louisiana in Monroe. She is currently chair of the French Curriculum Committee and academic advisor to French majors.
