Dr. Valko Receives Centennial Award for Excellence

Dr. Jennifer Valko, Associate Professor of Hispanic Studies, was part of a team of colleagues from the Department of English and Joyner Library that won the Chancellor’s Centennial Award for Excellence in recognition of Ambition for planning the 25th Annual Console-ing Passions International Conference on Television, Video, Audio, New Media, and Feminism, and bringing it to Eastern North Carolina in July 2017. The Centennial Award for Excellence is one of the highest awards given to faculty at ECU.
