Who Are Emerging Voices?

This workshop and lecture series showcases the innovative research of recent Ph.D. graduates in Hispanic, Francophone, Russophone, Germanophone, Classical, and Japanophone Studies. It fosters dialogue in cultural and literary studies through a cross-regional, interdisciplinary lens, while also spotlighting the work of emerging authors in languages other than English.

Why Do They Matter?

By highlighting the work of emerging authors and recent Ph.D. graduates, the series sparks new academic conversations that challenge established paradigms and bring attention to underrepresented perspectives.
