The film follows Miguel, a young boy with dreams of becoming a musician, despite his family’s generations-old ban on music. When a magical mishap transports him to the Land of the Dead, Miguel embarks on a journey to uncover the true story of his family history. Along the way, he meets charming skeletons, including his trickster great-great-grandfather, and learns about the importance of remembering and honoring one’s ancestors.
