When you study Russian, you’ll explore courses in Russian culture, 19th-20th century Russian literature, folklore, media, film, and literary criticism. You’ll dive into seminars on iconic figures like Pushkin, Dostoevsky, Chekhov, and Russian émigré culture. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to take classes in Russian history, economics, politics, fine arts, ballet, and music, offered by faculty from other departments through our interdisciplinary Russian Studies program.
